Today we went to the new Whin park!

We rode the train, walked round the pond and explored all the new toys. 

I wonder what you’d think of it? 

I think you’d love the pirate ship, I bet you’d do a good pirate impression.

I think you’d have wooshed down the new slide a little cautiously at first then so confidently and laughing as you bumped off it onto your bum at the end.

I think you’d have demolished a huge ice cream cone even if lots ended up on your t-shirt.

I think you’d have smiled, and laughed and looked at me with those big big eyes and sweetest half circle smile as you’d beg for 2 more minutes when I was time to go. 

Today we went to the new Whin Park and I missed you for all of it. 

But I could see you there so clearly.

Oh and guess what…amongst all the new shiney things they’ve kept this swing you went on, tucked away at the side, it’s still there! You were there. And I like that very much
